Welcome to the Zen Zone

The Zen Zone is Parkstone’s purpose built, dedicated Holistic Centre and Yoga Studio. We are situated at the Branksome end of Ashley Road, in Davis Road. The Centre is just behind Guitar Mania and next to the Salvation Army Hall (between Heaven and Rock 'n' Roll) and easily accessed from Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

The Ground Floor has 3 well equipped Therapy Rooms and a quiet-zone waiting area, while the first floor contains the Yoga Studio.

A wide range of Holistic Therapies and Beauty Treatments are provided by fully trained and qualified therapists and in the Studio, there are regular Yoga, Pilates and Chi Kung classes available to suit all levels of student.

Tui Na Chinese Medical Massage Workshop - For Practitioners & Therapists
An in-depth workshop aimed at holistic body workers and/or acupuncturists.

Saturday 27th June 2015 10am - 5pm
Sunday 28th June 2015 10am - 5pm

This is a two day practical workshop learning the ancient Chinese Medical Massage Techniques of Tui Na with TCM practitioner Martine Niven BSc (hons) Lic Ac MBAcC DipTn. It is suitable for acupuncturists, massage therapists and or body workers that would like to expand their skill set. It is a great opportunity to highlight areas that can be challenging for a practitioner and look at different conditions. New and inspiring methods that give effective and powerful results.

This workshop costs £140 for members and £145 for non-members and this is for 2 days.

New Class - Hatha Yoga with Julie

This new class is for maintaining mobility and improving relaxation and is suitable for more mature students and beginners.

Classes will be on Thursdays between 12:30pm and 1:30pm, start on the 9th July 2015 and cost £6 per class on a drop-in basis.

Yin Yoga Workshop - Open Your Heart

Saturday 11 July 2015 10am - 1pm
Sunday 12 July 2015 2pm - 5pm



This three hour Yin Yoga workshop will allow you the opportunity to focus on recharging and opening up your heart centre, learning how to nourish this primary organ and helping to revitalise your overall vitality and ease of being by learning skillful ways to meet ordinary moments we often struggle with.

You will leave this workshop with an understanding of: Chinese medicine, the Heart meridians and how they become stagnant and deficient and how you can heal your imbalances using the practices of loving kindness towards our selves and others, diet therapy, herbal remedies and yin postures. You will gain an awareness of how you can improve your physical and emotional awareness in order to improve your overall wellbeing to maintain optimum health.

An investment of £35 will enable you to get to know your inner emotional landscape and begin a journey of change in this deeply, calming, profound mind and body workshop. Beginners are most welcome.

Yoga for Anxiety - a specialised workshop with Dr. Lauren Kita
